Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. As a member of Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications director(2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 as well as White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki worked as an CNN political contributor from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and later became governor of Iowa. Psaki was later appointed the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was also the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. The 11th of February, 2013, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State. Her appointment at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney after he left the White House on May 30th, 2014 it was announced Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She returned to the White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She was a part of the Obama administration until the end of its term.
