Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is an South African television and radio journalist and war correspondent. She was a CBS News correspondent from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politcally biased story in 2012 Benghazi as "the worst mistake I have made in the past 10 years." In 2019 she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media company. 4 On January 4, 2020, she joined Fox Nation. Fox News offers a subscription-based streaming service. She claimed she was "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan was a reporter for the Sunday Tribune of Durban during her studies (1988-1989), followed by the Daily News of the city (1990-1992). In 1992, she was a senior producer at Reuters Television Africa. After four years with Reuters Television in Africa she moved into freelance journalistic work. She was employed as a reporter/editor/producer for Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her homebase, where she covered events like 1998's United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
