Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn (born August 19, 1965), is an American actor from America. Her starring role on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most famous. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. Following the seventh season Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The show ended on August 13th, 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) as well as Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are also among her many. Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald, an therapist for speech and family, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV who was a venture capitalist. She was born in New York City.
